Today I went snowboarding, so when I got home I was crazy tired, and took a bath, read a book, and listened to music, and this song come on, and I remembered how awesome it is.

The internuts are pretty boring at 1:45 in the morning on a Monday, well, Tuesday technically, but I just got home from work 45 minutes ago, so eat a dick my bed, I'm not seeing you for a while, unless this wine, advil, and not being low combination does me in.
PS, Laura, your MP3 player is on my stereo speaker, I just noticed now, that would have been the perfect convincer, you may or may not want that by Wednesday.

One long sentence.
I should really be in bed already, but I've so enjoyed this single hour of time to myself at home after a long ass day at work, I'd like to cherish this time I have, and hold onto it for as long as I possibly can.

Im bored, tired of routine, and frustrated.

Listy List
Status update:
Laundry started, then forgotten, imma get on that now. Like right now. Not when i'm done this post, because I will most certainly forget. Again.
KNITTING, well I did some crocheting. I found a scarf I started two years ago, and it took me forever to get back into the pattern, but I'm freppy confident I've got it down now.
Staining, I did not get to this, but I did get a bunch of the next itm done to make this task easier.
Cleaning, dishes done, dishwasher ran, garbage out, bags of papers organized. I feel good.
Earth, Wind and Fire will be my bedtime music, but I did fit in No Doubt, Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, Spill Canvas, and a bunch of other cd's.
Still hate cleaning, but it's nice to not be in a massive mess right now.
Still love music. So hard.
I just found the cigarette from my ashtray that had fallen due to me forgetting about it. How does one forget how to smoke? This baffles me.
Fuck yeah, we could live like this
Today I resolve to start the following:
Laundry that I have been avoiding for about two weeks
Get back into KNITTING
Stain my new blanket boxes so that I may use them
Generally clean my place up, I've been slacking/to busy lately
Listen to Earth, Wind and Fire, and whatever else strikes my fancy, all day long.
God I hate cleaning.
God I love music

I'm not low.
HI WEBERNUTS
I'm mostly on this simply because I hate cleaning so hard, and I have a lot that I don't have any desire to get to. Instead, I am listening to Billy Joel and Cat Stevens coming from my kitchen, drinking tea on my couch. If I could do that all day, every day, I think I would love it, for roughly three days, by then I'd be begging for more records, and would throw on some Phil Collins, Neil Diamond, or whatever else I've found at my local Value Village.
Jer, if you read this, come to Toronto sometime soon, but not Tuesday, or Saturday night, Unless you are coming to Ratatat, then certainly come Saturday night.
Laura, get your dong foot better by Saturday night, or at the very least get a wheelchair. I will wheel you around. You could roll around on some blinging 24's or something. You could crowd roll.
Make it so.

Ben & Jerry's
Dear Chunky Monkey,
Why must you have walnuts? If you did not have walnuts you would be as awesome as Cherry Garcia. Alas, even if that were the case, neither of you would compare to the delight that is "One, Cheesecake Brownie" which I tasted once, and haven't been able to find since.
Sincerely,
-Me

Why don't you take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut? Why don't you take a flying fuck at the mooooooooooooon?
I was at a tattoo studio recently for a few hours watching a tattoo progress, discussing my tattoo plans (dragonfly on ribs, flower shin sleeves) with the artist and subject among other things, and I decided that I wanted to get "So it goes" tattooed on me. Since it is small, and I generally am not a huge fan of small tattoos, especially first tattoos due to the fact that they tend to be regretted and/or covered up, I decided that I would get it on my foot. The thinking behind this was along the lines of knuckle tattoos, and get it on my toes, but the placement didn't really work in my head. Anyways, I sat on it for a couple weeks, read some Vonnegut (the source of "So it goes), and then was handed a book by Chuck Klosterman called "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs". I pick up the book flip through it and see "So it goes" in the index. Immediately I go to the page and read the context. Klosterman writes "And So It Goes" has (Billy) Joel conceding that every woman who loves him will eventually decide to leave". Of course I Youtube it and read the lyrics. "I NEED TO GET THIS TATTOOED ON MY BODY" I think to myself. So I came up with the idea of getting "So it goes*" on the top of my right foot, and "And So It Goes" tattoed on my left foot. It's decided, this is how it will go. Now I just need to get some fitting fonts, and then head over to the studio and get this on me forever.
So it goes.
So it goes.
Finally got my access to this back
I didn't forget about this, because it is my home page, but I DID forget/lost/couldn't-get-back my password. I'm not one for a lot of words, so onto the meat of this post before I feel to repetitive or bored of writing.
I have been listening to CBC Radio 3 podcasts A LOT lately, and they have pretty much been making my life. Who knew that there ARE SO MANY quality Canadian bands. Not I, not I. I've only made it through about six of the podcasts, and of that I've listened to a few more then once already, but every time I hear something that I like, and would like to investigate more, I write it down. I have four pages (small pages, but still four) of bands and the featured song so that I can look them up. It's almost a little to much, I don't think I'll ever find to time to get to know each artists material as much as I would like to. This situation is both delayed and prioritized due to the fact that my external hard drive died. I lost over half of my musical library, so I am so very interested in building it back up, but I have yet to replace the hard drive, so I have nowhere to store anything new, and my computer is so close to full right now, it can barely function.
I'm going to list a few of the artists that will take precedence over the rest, I suggest you look them up. Noah and the Whale, Matthew Sweet, Said the Whale, Wendy McNeill, Rock Plaza Central, Wood Hands, Awkward Stage, Jill Barber, KATHLEEN EDWARDS, Hey Ocean, The Wheat Pool, Jeremy Fisher (who I had, but lost to the hard drive), Rose Cousins, The Coast, Kate Maki, Corb Lund, GONZALES, and then there is a a group of school kids featured in Podcast #160 that sing a song called "Boom Snap Clap" that I am in LOVE with.
As you can see, I am overwhelmed (this is the condensed list) and really need to find a way to dedicate my life to listening to music.
I have more I'd like to post, but will do so at a later time, or date.
